A new name is going to make a splash in the world of electric vehicles soon – TVS M1-S scooter is the first electric vehicle of TVS’ partnership with Singapore-based startup company Ion Mobility. Let’s know about its specifications, range, features and possible price.
Design and style
The TVS M1-S is a rebadged version of the Ion M1-S, which means there are no major changes in the design. This scooter has dual headlight clusters and daytime running lamps (DRLs), which make it very attractive for night rides. Angular body panels and a tall windscreen are its special features.

Apart from this, the 14-inch alloy wheels not only enhance the style but also provide better grip on the road. If we talk about storage, then it has a 26-liter under-seat storage space, where you can easily keep your helmet and small items.
Features and technology
TVS M1-S has a 7-inch TFT HD display, which not only shows riding data but also supports smartphone connectivity. It has a smart key system, so that you can start the scooter without a key.
Apart from this, 3 riding modes (Eco, Normal, Sport) and reverse mode have also been given, which helps in handling the bike in tight parking spaces.
Performance and Battery
The TVS M1-S is powered by a 12.5 kW (16.7 bhp) electric motor that draws power from a 4.3 kWh lithium-ion battery. According to Ion Mobility, the scooter can accelerate from 0-50 kmph in just 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 105 kmph. If we talk about the range, it covers a distance of up to 150 km, which is quite good for city and short tours.
Suspension and Braking
To improve the ride quality, it has telescopic front forks and pre-load adjustable twin shocks (rear). For braking, there are front and rear disc brakes, which enhance safety.
