After a long wait, Triumph has finally launched its new bike, the Daytona 660, for sale in the Indian market. This powerful sports bike, equipped with attractive looks and a powerful engine, has a starting price of ₹9.72 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This bike is based on the same platform as the company’s other model, the Trident 660. So, let’s find out what’s special about this bike.
How is the new Daytona 660
This bike features split headlamps and a transparent separate window screen, giving it a sporty and aggressive look. The company has used the same 660cc in-line three-cylinder engine in this bike that also powers the Trident 660 and Tigor Sport 660. However, the Daytona generates a robust 95bhp of power at 11,250rpm and 69Nm of torque at 8,250rpm. This engine delivers strong performance and a smooth ride on the road.
Premium features
In terms of features, the Daytona comes standard with LED lights, three unique driving modes (Rain, Road, and Sport), and a dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS). The Daytona 660’s hardware is also quite premium. The bike features 41mm Showa SFF-BP Upside Down (USD) fork suspension at the front and a Showa monoshock suspension with preload adjustment at the rear. It features twin 310mm disc brakes at the front and a 220mm disc brake at the rear, ensuring better control and safety at all speeds.

The company has set the bike’s seat height at 810mm, which is comfortable for most Indian riders. Its engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a torque clutch assist system. The Daytona 660 features a 14-liter fuel tank and a color TFT screen that clearly displays all riding information. Triumph has opened bookings for this bike. The bike is available for sale in a total of three attractive colors: Snow Down White, Satin Granite, and Carnival Red.
