Toyota Land Cruiser FJ

Toyota Fortuner has always been the first choice of premium SUV buyers in India, but its price has constantly increased and is out of reach for many customers. To address this problem, Toyota is bringing a new and affordable SUV based on the IMV 0 platform, which could be named Land Cruiser FJ.

Design

First of all, talking about its design, the design of the Land Cruiser FJ will be quite attractive. It can have the option of round or square headlights, as seen in the LC 250. Its length will be 4,550 mm, width 1,830 mm and height 1,860 mm. The wheelbase of 2,750 mm makes it slightly larger than the Corolla Cross, but it will be more compact than the Fortuner.

Engine and Performance

Now talking about its engine, there are talks of several engine options in this SUV. The most likely option is a 2.7 liter petrol engine that will produce 163 PS power and 245 Nm torque. A 2.8 liter diesel engine can also be an option, but it may not be available initially due to production delays in the LC 250. It will also be given a full-time 4WD system and Torsen LSD, which will make it great for off-roading.

Features

If we talk about features, then the Land Cruiser FJ will get advanced 4WD system, multi-terrain drive modes, premium interior and high-end safety features. Launch and Price

It was initially expected to launch in 2025, but has now been pushed to 2026. It is expected to be priced between Rs 22.80 lakh and Rs 25.65 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be much cheaper than the Fortuner, which makes it more attractive.
