Tesla is expanding rapidly in India after launching its electric cars here. The company is now all set to open its third showroom in the country. After entering Delhi and Mumbai, Tesla has signed a new lease in Gurugram. This move strengthens Tesla’s presence in India’s luxury EV market. The new showroom will be located on Sohna Road.

Tesla Leases 51,000 Sq. Ft. Space in Gurugram

Tesla India Motors and Energy Pvt. Ltd. has taken a 51,000 sq. ft. commercial space on Sohna Road, Gurugram. The location is Orchid Business Park, and the lease term is nine years. Tesla will pay a monthly rent of ₹40.17 lakh for the first year. The registered lease started on July 28, 2025, and was effective from July 15. This will be Tesla’s third outlet in India.

Service Centre, Warehouse and Showroom in One

Out of the total leased area, 33,475 sq. ft. will be the chargeable area. This space will be used as a service center, warehouse, and retail showroom. The property has been leased from Garwal Property Pvt. Ltd. According to documents, the rent will increase by 4.75% every year. By the ninth year, Tesla will pay ₹58.22 lakh per month in rent.

Future Plans Include New Showroom in Aerocity

According to reports, Tesla is also planning to open a new showroom in Delhi’s Aerocity. This outlet will be located in Worldmark Mall and is likely to open on August 11, 2025. Tesla paid ₹2.41 crore as a security deposit for the Gurugram lease. The rental income from the property will be divided among Suncity Real Estate LLP (21%), Orchid Infrastructure Developers Pvt. Ltd. (3.06%), and Garwal Property Pvt. Ltd. (75.94%).
