Performance and Range
There are two versions to the Punch EV-a standard and long range variant. Of course, the long-range model comes with an extended range of 421 km (as per ARAI), while the standard version is about 315 km. It feels sprightly enough in the city with good torque and smooth acceleration.
The eC3 has an impressive range of 320 km using the 29.2-kWh battery (ARAI). It’s also a little slow than the Punch and is missing things like drive modes or really zippy acceleration.

The price of the Punch EV ranges from around ₹10.99 lakh to around ₹14.50 lakh (ex-showroom prices).
Citroen s eC3 starts slightly lower at around ₹11.61 lakh ex-showroom, but it has lesser features priced at this level.
If you want a fairly-rounded, future-ready electric car that packs in all the features and a great range, it is quite evident that the Tata Punch EV far excels the Citroen eC3. The Citroen eC3 is for those with budgets looking for a simple EV with a quirky design. However, the Punch EV will capture most value and performance-conscious buyers in 2025.
