If you are also planning to buy a car at a budget price, then wait a bit. Tata Motors is planning to launch 3 new cars priced below Rs 10 lakh this year. The starting price of these cars will be between Rs 5-6 lakh. This list includes updated Tata Punch and facelifted Tiago and Tigor.
According to the media report, Tata Tiago and Tata Tigor can be unveiled at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025 starting on January 17. Let’s know the possible price and features of these cars.
Tata Punch
According to the report, Tata Motors will launch the Punch in a new avatar this year. It is a micro SUV. The upcoming new car can have a design like Punch Electric. It can be given a new grille, LED projector headlamps, and LED DRLs. The Tata Punch Facelift SUV will get many features including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless car play, and Android Auto. However, no changes will be made to its engine. Its starting price is likely to be more than Rs 6 lakh ex-showroom.
Tata Tiago Facelift
The new Tata Tiago facelift hatchback can also be launched this year. Some cosmetic changes will be seen in its exterior design. It can be given new headlamps, DRL, radiator grille, bumper, alloy wheel, and tail lamp. The Tiago hatchback will remain in 5 5-seater option only.
It will be given many features including a touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a USB Type C port, and a wireless smartphone charger. There will be no change in its engine as well. The starting price of the new Tata Tiago is Rs 5 lakh ex-showroom.
TATA Tigor
Along with Tata Tiago, Tigor facelift will also be launched this year. This car can be given attractive design and advanced features. Its starting price is likely to be around Rs 6 lakh ex-showroom.
If the report is to be believed, no change will be made to the engine of the Tigor facelift sedan. It will have the existing 1.2-liter petrol and CNG engine options. It will have the option of a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic gearbox. This sedan will compete with the Maruti Dzire. It will give a mileage of around 19.43 to 28.06 KM.
