Tata Harrier:Tata Motors has yet again created a safety benchmark, affirming its image with a strong statement in the electric SUV space. The recently launched Tata Harrier.ev has cleared Bharat NCAP crash tests in a blaze of glory, receiving the highest available rating and demonstrating its premium-level protection for adults and children alike.
Bharat NCAP Crash Test Results
During the recent Bharat NCAP crash tests, Tata Harrier.ev topped the list. It achieved a perfect score of 32 out of 32 in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) as it highlighted the structural strength and sound safety engineering of the SUV. The Child Occupant Protection (COP) segment also scored well at 45 out of 49. These are impressive results that show Tata’s ongoing commitment to passenger vehicle safety and make the Harrier.ev a class-leader.
Ideal Impact Test Scores
Aside from top-level ratings, the Harrier.ev also scored a total of 16/16 in both front and side impact tests. This feat indicates how the car provides the best protection in actual crash situations, which is critical for families concerned about safety.
Packed with 20+ Advanced Safety Features
Tata has loaded the Harrier.ev with over 20 premium safety features to provide protection from every direction on the road. The SUV has Level 2 ADAS, such as Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist. Autonomous Emergency Braking for pedestrians, cyclists, and cars adds further robustness to its safety credentials.
Further, the SUV features seven airbags—there’s even a knee airbag—along with Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with i-VBAC, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, rain-sensing wipers, SOS calling, AVAS, and auto headlamps. These aids not only assist in preventing accidents but also minimize injury risk when an accident does take place.

Tata launched the Harrier.ev in a variety of RWD trims, each to suit varying budget segments.
- Adventure (65 kWh battery) is ₹21.49 lakh
- Adventure S (65 kWh) at ₹21.99 lakh
- Fearless+ (65 kWh) at ₹23.99 lakh
- Fearless+ (75 kWh) at ₹24.99 lakh
- Empowered (75 kWh) is the range-topping variant, priced at ₹27.49 lakh
The RWD models will start booking on July 2, while the QWD models’ price will be announced on June 27.
