Tata: If you are planning to buy a Tata Tiago or the stylish Tata Curvv soon, this news could change your mind. Tata Motors has increased the prices of selected variants of these cars by up to ₹13,000, impacting budget-conscious buyers and premium SUV lovers alike. Here is the full breakdown of how much more you will have to pay.

Price Hike for Tata Tiago

Tata Tiago is a popular hatchback known for its mileage and reasonable price. However, some of its variants are now costlier. Tata has raised the prices of variants like XM Petrol, XZ Petrol, XZ+ Petrol, and XZA Petrol, along with XM iCNG, XZ iCNG, and XZA iCNG by ₹10,000. Meanwhile, XT Petrol, XTA Petrol, XT iCNG, and XTA iCNG have seen a smaller hike of ₹5,000.

There is some relief for those looking at the base XE Petrol and XE iCNG, as these variants have kept their earlier prices unchanged. Currently, the new price range for the Tata Tiago starts at ₹5 lakh and goes up to ₹8.55 lakh ex-showroom.

Tata Curvv Sees Up to ₹13,000 Hike

Tata Curvv, a stylish coupe SUV that is gaining attention, has also seen price adjustments. Variants like the entry-level Accomplished S GDI Turbo Petrol MT (Dark Edition), Accomplished+ A, and the Smart Diesel version will keep their earlier prices for now.

However, the company has increased prices by ₹3,000 for variants such as Creative S GDI Turbo Petrol MT, Accomplished+ A GDI Turbo Petrol DCA, and Creative+ S GDI Turbo Petrol MT/DCA, along with some turbo options.

Other Curvv variants have received a price jump of ₹13,000. After these changes, the new price range for Tata Curvv starts at ₹10 lakh and goes up to ₹19.52 lakh ex-showroom.

Why Prices Are Rising

Tata Motors has not officially shared the reason for the price hike. But in general, higher input costs for materials like steel and electronics, the cost of adding safety features, inflation, and changing market conditions could be behind this move.
