Suzuki has unveiled its new Vision e-Sky Electric Concept just ahead of the Japan Mobility Show 2025. Exterior Design

The front fascia has been completely redesigned, featuring pixel-style lighting elements and C-shaped LED DRLs. Being electric, it has a closed grille and a flat bumper section. The side profile features more prominent wheel arches, retractable door handles, redesigned wheels, and blacked-out A and B pillars. Compared to the flat roof of the petrol WagonR, the electric concept’s roofline is slightly tapered, giving it a sportier stance. At the rear, C-shaped taillights, a flat bumper, a wide windscreen, and spoiler-mounted stop lamps further enhance its aesthetics.

Dimensions and Size

In terms of size, the Suzuki Vision e-Sky concept electric car measures 3,395 mm long, 1,475 mm wide, and 1,625 mm tall. This size is roughly the same as the petrol WagonR sold in Japan. Although its wheelbase has not yet been revealed, it is expected to be around 2,450 mm. This size makes it perfect for urban streets, where parking and maneuvering in narrow alleys can be a major challenge. Its compact size and tallboy design promise ample interior space.

Interior

The interior of the Suzuki Vision e-Sky concept features a robust setup that reflects traditional Japanese aesthetics. A mirror theme appears to be used for the digital screens and central console. Both the large touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument cluster are expected to be around 12 inches in size. Ambient lighting can be seen on the dashboard and doors. A floating console between the front seats houses a wireless smartphone charging pad. Physical buttons have been minimized, reducing the cabin’s clutter. The multi-colored theme with light shades creates a relaxed and comfortable feel. The squarish, three-spoke steering wheel offers a clear view of the instrument console. Another notable feature is the recessed, tray-style dashboard, which can be used for various practical storage needs.

Range and Prospects in India

Suzuki has not yet released technical details of the Vision e-Sky electric car. However, the company has stated that the electric vehicle will have a range of over 270 km. This range is sufficient for daily city use. Now, the biggest question is whether this car will be launched in India. This particular Vision e-Sky concept may not come to India, but Maruti could bring another sub-4-meter electric car here called the eWX, which has already been patented in India. The eWX features a boxy, tall-boy profile similar to the Vision e-Sky concept and the petrol WagonR.
