Zelo Knight+: Zelo Electric, an Indian electric two-wheeler startup, launched Knight+ — India’s most affordable electric scooter to date. Developed specifically for mass-market buyers, Knight+ delivers premium features without the premium cost. Priced at a mere ₹59,990 (ex-showroom), the scooter introduces contemporary features, trendy looks, and intelligent performance to the mass commuter space.
Knight+ Features
Knight+ has been made to fit urban requirements without being hard on the wallet. Though affordable, Zelo Electric says it packs some premium features found in mid-range or full-fledged scooters. It’s been constructed with city riders in mind who need awesome performance on a small budget.
Smart Features for Everyday Rides
Knight+ features a host of day-to-day conveniences and comfort-enhancing features not typically found in scooters at this price level. They include hill-hold control, cruise control, and follow-me-home headlamps. A USB charging port has been introduced to facilitate on-the-go charging. The battery can be removed for easy charging at home or the office without having to reposition the scooter.
This model is available in six vibrant colours, including glossy white, glossy black, and dual-tone finishes, offering style along with substance.
Real-World Range and Speed
Knight+ comes with a 1.8kWh portable LFP battery, which is said to provide an estimated range of 100 kilometres in real-world driving under full charge. This makes it perfect for regular city driving. With a maximum speed of 55 km/h, it comfortably satisfies the requirements of short-distance city commuters. Pre-bookings are already on and deliveries will start from August 20, 2025, through Zelo dealerships in India.

During the launch event, co-founder of Zelo Electric Mukund Baheti discussed how Knight+ is not just another product. It’s an extension of their vision to offer affordable yet premium electric mobility to Indian consumers. He mentioned that the model is one of the most feature-rich and value-for-money scooters in its category and that the company wishes it will inspire thousands to move to cleaner and smart transportation.
