Skoda Kylak Special Edition:Skoda celebrated its 25 years in India by introducing special anniversary versions of Kushaq, Slavia, and the brand’s budget SUV, Kylak. Rivals Brezza, Venue, and Nexon, the Kylak is now offered with a limited-run model which will be available to only 500 customers nationwide.

The Kylak Special Edition comes in Signature+ and Prestige trims. Prices begin at ₹11.25 lakh for Signature+ and ₹12.89 lakh for Prestige (ex-showroom). It receives exclusive design updates and additional features compared to the base model. Customers will also get a complimentary accessories kit featuring a 360-degree camera, puddle lamps, and a 25th anniversary badge on the B-pillar. It is offered in seven exterior colour options.

Features and Comfort

On the inside, the Kylak Special Edition is equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen enabling wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, and automatic climate control. It has a leather-wrapped steering wheel with chrome garnish, dash inserts, USB Type-C ports at the front, and a rear centre armrest. Keyless entry with push-button start, auto-dimming IRVM, a sunroof, 6-way powered and ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, and a wireless phone charger are also part of the features. The rear seats come with a 60:40 split-folding feature for enhanced convenience.

Engine and Performance

Similar to the standard model, this variant employs a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that makes 115 bhp. The transmission choices are a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The manual takes 10.5 seconds to complete 0-100 km/h, and the automatic does the same in 11.69 seconds. Fuel efficiency is 19.68 km/l for the manual and 19.05 km/l for the automatic.
