Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 New Model: Royal Enfield, which rules Indian roads, is now going to strengthen its 450cc platform even further. The company is ready to launch the first major update of its powerful roadster, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450.
According to reports, this new bike is expected to be launched on March 27, 2026. While the Himalayan 450 is a favorite of off-road enthusiasts, the Guerrilla 450 has attracted city riders with its sporty style. Now, in the 2026 model, the company is focusing on comfort and control, taking into account customer feedback.
Suspension and Ride Quality
Since the launch of the Guerrilla 450, some riders have complained about the stiff rear suspension, which causes slight jolting on rough roads. Royal Enfield is now working to address this issue. Just as the company updated the Hunter 350’s suspension to improve its ride quality, the 2026 Guerrilla is also getting a revised rear suspension. Furthermore, reports suggest the option of USD (Upside Down) forks may also be available at the front, which will not only enhance the bike’s muscular appearance but also improve handling.
Advanced Features
To attract new buyers, Royal Enfield is adding some “premium” touches to the bike. Since the bike already features Ride-by-Wire technology, it could now include high-tech features like Cruise Control and Traction Control. These features will make long highway rides much easier.
Additionally, the company will introduce some new and attractive color options to enhance the bike’s visual appeal. Currently, the bike comes in colors like Brava Blue, Shadow Ash, and Gold Dip, but the new model may feature some brighter and more modern graphics.
Powerful Engine
While the features and suspension are changing, the heart of this bike, its 452cc liquid-cooled Sherpa engine, remains the same. This engine is known for its smoothness and mid-range torque. Its 40 hp power and 40 Nm peak torque keep it ahead in city traffic. The two riding modes allow riders to customize power delivery to their needs. Combined with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch, it’s a great package for speed enthusiasts.
Price and Competition
Currently, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 starts at ₹2.56 lakh (ex-showroom). With these new updates and advanced features, its price could see a slight increase of ₹6, 000 to ₹8, 000. It competes directly with rivals like the Triumph Speed 400 and Harley-Davidson X440. With improved suspension and cruise control, this updated model is going to pose a big challenge to its rivals.
