If you are fond of superbikes and like exclusive things, then Triumph’s new Speed Triple 1200 RX is nothing short of a dream for you. Triumph has quietly launched it in India, and is priced at ₹23.07 lakhs (ex-showroom). The special thing is that this bike is a limited edition model, which will be made only 1,200 units worldwide.

Design
The new Speed Triple 1200 RX looks so sharp and aggressive in appearance that it is recognized at first glance. It has an exclusive neon yellow-black color scheme, which makes it different from the rest of the models. In addition, the bike features RX graphics and carbon-fibre + titanium-made Akrapovic exhaust, which not only seems premium in appearance but also boosts performance.
Technology
Triumph has given top-class braking systems for safety and handling in RX. It uses Brembo Stylema calipers, Brembo MCS radial master cylinder, and dual-disc setup. If it comes to suspension, the bike has Ohlins Smart EC 3.0 active suspension system, which adjusts itself according to road conditions. Along with this, Ohlins SD EC stering damper is also found which maintains stability at high-speed.
Engine
However, this bike has the same powerful engine as the Speed Triple 1200 RS. A 1,163cc inline-3 liquid-cooled engine, which gives power of 183hp @ 10,750rpm and torque of 128Nm @ 8,750rpm. The same engine is connected to a 6-speed gearbox which makes the gear shift extremely smooth. Even though the RX used titanium and carbon-fibre exhaust, it weighs only 199kg (kerb), making it one of the lightest streetfighters in its class.

Price
Also tell Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX is priced at ₹23.07 lakhs, which is ₹1.31 lakh more than the RS model. But given its exclusive features, design and limited edition status, these extras seem reasonable. The company has not yet stated how many units will be allotted to India, making this bike even more special.
