A new storm is about to come in the Indian car market! Nissan’s new C-segment SUV has been spotted testing on Indian roads. This SUV will be launched by 2026 and will compete directly with popular cars like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Skoda Kushak. Design
Spy shots show that the design of the new Nissan SUV will be quite aggressive and modern. It features a sculpted bonnet, flared wheel arches and C-shaped bumper styling. The Nissan logo is placed in the middle of the grille, which gives it a premium look. In the side profile, 5-spoke alloy wheels, roof rails and shark-fin antenna can be seen, which further strengthen its SUV identity.
Interior
The interior images have not been revealed yet, but it is believed that this new SUV will offer features similar to its platform brother Renault Duster. It can get features like a large touchscreen infotainment system, connected car technology, wireless smartphone integration and multiple drive modes. However, there is no information about ADAS yet, which is now becoming a common feature in this segment.
Engine
Talking about the engine, at launch, this SUV will come with a petrol engine, which could be similar to the upcoming Renault Duster. However, later Nissan may also introduce a hybrid variant, which could come with a mild or strong hybrid setup. A CNG variant could also be an option but it will be offered through authorized partners and not factory-fitted.
3-row variant
Nissan has already confirmed that there will be a 3-row version of this SUV. However, it will not be just a stretched version of the regular 5-seater variant but will be specially designed to suit the needs of Indian families.

This new Nissan SUV is expected to be launched in the Indian market by mid-2026.
