Design

Talking about its design, this time the Ducati Monster has been designed in a completely new style. Although the bike seen in the spy shots is a prototype, there are many changes in its bodywork. It has been given larger tank shrouds and a new composite sub-frame.

Also the exhaust system has also been upgraded, in which a larger catalytic converter has been installed. The design of the alloy wheels is also different from the previous model, which makes it even more attractive.

Engine

The biggest change in this new model is the 890cc, V-twin engine, which will replace the old 937cc Testastretta motor. Surprisingly, this engine will not have Ducati’s famous desmodromic valve timing technology, but instead uses a conventional valve train (overhead camshaft). This engine will not only give better performance but will also improve fuel efficiency.

Features

Ducati has not released the official feature list yet, based on spy shots and reports, it is expected to get a full-LED digital instrument cluster, multi-riding modes, quick shifter (up/down), slip and lift control, dual-channel ABS and LED lighting.
