These upcoming SUVs will likely raise the competition level in the market and offer consumers more thrilling choices.

Maruti Suzuki Escudo

Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to introduce its new SUV Escudo in India. It can be equipped with a 1.5L petrol engine, as well as strong hybrid and CNG variants. Premium elements such as a panoramic sunroof and advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) are also on the cards. As per reports, Escudo can be launched by the end of 2025.

Tata Sierra

Tata is launching its legendary Sierra in a new avatar. The SUV will come in petrol, diesel, and electric variants. It will feature a big infotainment screen, air-conditioned seats, connected car technology, and state-of-the-art safety features. Sierra will be launched late in 2025.

Renault Duster Facelift

Renault is set to launch its hit Duster in a new look. The new model will have a trendy appearance, great ground clearance, and a 1.3L turbo petrol engine. An AWD variant is also rumored, which will make it both city and off-road capable. The release is rumored to take place in the last few months of 2025.

Nissan New SUV

Nissan is also developing a new SUV on the upcoming Renault Duster. Although the design and majority of features will be akin to the Duster, Nissan will introduce unique interior colors and a unique technology package. This SUV will go on sale in early 2026.

Kia Seltos

Kia is set to launch the next-generation Seltos by early 2026. The updated model will feature a fresh design, enhanced ADAS features, hybrid version, and a more luxurious cabin. With these changes, Seltos will be a solid competitor to Hyundai Creta.
