This hatchback gets a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine, which produces 66bhp of power and 89 Nm of torque. It can be purchased in 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic transmission options. Maruti Celerio is also available in CNG. However, the Celerio CNG comes with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Maruti Suzuki claims that the petrol model of Celerio can give mileage of up to 25.24 km/l in manual mode and 26.68 km/l in automatic mode. At the same time, the claimed mileage of its CNG model is 34.43 km/kg. It is also the highest mileage car in its segment.
