For off-roading enthusiasts, Kawasaki India has launched a powerful dual sport bike in India. KLX is the company’s entry-level bike in India and its ex-showroom price has been kept at ₹ 3.30 lakh. Let us tell you that Kawasaki KLX230 is being manufactured in India itself. But is this bike powerful according to its price? Let’s find out.
Made in India Kawasaki

Despite being Made in India, the price of the bike has been kept quite high, which is surprising. As soon as it was launched in the country, it started competing with Royal Enfield Himalayan, Triumph Scrambler 400X, and KTM 390 Adventure.

Bike more expensive than the competition
Despite being the Made in India tag, the price at which the Kawasaki has been launched the brand new KLX230 is surprising. To stay in the competition, reducing the price of this bike will probably become the biggest need of the company.
Lack of features too
All the other bikes in the competition are not only more powerful than this, but you also get many features with these bikes. Even the Hero XPulse200 and XPulse210 compete with the new Kawasaki KLX230 in terms of power and features.
How powerful is the engine
The 2025 Kawasaki KLX230 has a 233 cc oil-cooled engine, which is quite agile. This engine generates 19.73 bhp of power at 8,000 rpm and 20.3 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm.

Lack of Bluetooth connectivity
Dual purpose tires have been provided with it for strong off-roading. Being light on any road, this bike moves fast and these tires give strong grip. It has a fully digital instrument console, but you will not get Bluetooth connectivity here.
The Kawasaki KLX230 is a bike with strong off-roading capabilities, but its price and features may put it behind its competitors. If you are fond of adventure and budget is not an issue, then this bike can be a good option for you. But, in terms of price and features, you should also consider other options.
