Design
New spy shots clearly show that the Mahindra XUV700 Facelift is now very close to its mid-life update. There is also a clear look at the fully covered test mules. Its front will now be more bold and modern than before.

The new front bumper design, updated headlamp elements, and redesigned alloy wheels will give the SUV a fresh and premium appeal. Although the side profile will remain almost the same as in the current model, the new exterior paint options will add new life to its look.
Upgrades
Talking about interior changes, Mahindra is planning to do something big this time. The interior of the new XUV700 Facelift will have a completely modern and luxurious feel. The company has taken inspiration from its born electric models, due to which this SUV will now look even more advanced.
The biggest change will be the new triple screen setup, which will provide a futuristic experience for both driver and passengers. Apart from this, features like front ventilated seats, Level 2 ADAS functions, automatic climate control, and wireless phone charging will also remain.
Engine
Mahindra is not going to make any major changes with the engine this time and to be honest, it is not even needed. The existing 2.0-litre turbocharged mStallion petrol and 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engines are already quite popular in terms of performance.

The company will continue both of these engines in the 2026 Mahindra XUV700 Facelift. With this, options for six-speed manual and six-speed torque converter automatic transmission will also be found. This means that the same fun of power and smooth driving will now be found in even more stylish packages.
Launch
According to reports, Mahindra is now in the advanced testing phase of this SUV, and there is every possibility of its early 2026 debut. With the launch, the XUV700 will give a tough competition to other premium SUVs in its segment such as Tata Safari and Hyundai Alcazar.
