New Look
First, let’s talk about its appearance. Spy shots reveal that the 2026 Mahindra XUV700 will retain its overall shape, but its front fascia will receive several interesting changes. It will feature a revised front grille and a new LED headlamp setup, with redesigned C-shaped LED daytime running lights. Additionally, new bumpers, redesigned alloy wheels, and updated taillights are also expected. This means its new appearance will be recognizable from afar.

Interior
The biggest change in the XUV700 facelift’s cabin will be its dashboard. The interior will feature a completely new dashboard layout inspired by the XEV 9e. Spy shots of the interior confirm that the new XUV700 will feature a triple-screen dashboard. This will include a central infotainment unit, an instrument panel, and a co-occupant entertainment unit. This feature will provide a seamless entertainment and information experience for all occupants.
Highlights
The Mahindra XUV700 facelift is expected to feature Dolby Atmos audio technology with Harman/Kardon speakers, providing an immersive sound experience. It appears Mahindra may also introduce a six-seater version of the XUV700, featuring captain seats with ventilation functions. This will further enhance comfort on long journeys. Furthermore, the SUV could also feature an auto-dimming IRVM and front parking sensors. Like the Mahindra XEV 9e, this three-row XUV700 could also feature an ADAS Level 2+ system and a self-parking feature.
Powertrain
If you’re wondering if the new features will result in a reduction in engine power, don’t worry. The XUV700 facelift remains mechanically unchanged. It will continue to come with the same reliable and powerful engine options. As a reminder, it offers a 197bhp/380Nm 2.0L turbo petrol engine and a 182bhp/450Nm 2.2L turbo diesel engine. These engines are paired with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. This means the same performance.
