Mahindra XEV 9e: Mahindra has officially launched its highly anticipated electric vehicle in our country, the Mahindra XEV 9e. The starting ex-showroom price is set at Rs. 21.9 lakh, with availability in dealerships expected by January 2025, coinciding with the commencement of deliveries. The vehicle measures over 4.7 meters in length, although it currently lacks market demand. However, competition may arise with the potential introduction of the Tata Harrier EV.

Advance ADAS safety suite
Cabin highlights include a twin-spoke steering wheel adorned with the Mahindra logo, a premium 16-speaker audio system, wireless smartphone connectivity, a panoramic sunroof, automatic parking capabilities, and an advanced ADAS safety suite.

Battery and range
The Mahindra XEV 9e is built on the Inglo electric vehicle architecture and is available with either 59 kWh or 79 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery packs. The 79 kWh variant promises an impressive range of 656 km on a single charge, while the range for the 59 kWh variant remains unspecified. Both battery options support fast charging, capable of utilizing a DC fast charger with a charging speed of 175 kW, allowing for a charge from 20 percent to 80 percent in just 20 minutes.
