Mahindra XEV 9e & BE 6 Pack  : Mahindra has launched new variants of BE 6 and XEV 9e in its electric SUV series, named ‘Pack Two’. These variants are now available with two battery options – one with 59 kWh and the other with a larger 79 kWh battery. Their deliveries will start from the last week of July 2025.

Price and variant details

The new variant has been priced at ₹ 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The 79 kWh version of the BE 6 will be available for ₹ 23.50 lakh, while the XEV 9e is priced at ₹ 24.90 lakh for the 59 kWh battery and ₹ 26.50 lakh for the 79 kWh.

Longer range and better performance

For customers who want more range, the 79 kWh version is a great option. The company claims that this model will run for about 500 km on a single charge, while the 59 kWh model gives a range of about 400 km. Old customers have also been given the opportunity to convert their bookings to a longer range version.

Charging options and time

Better options have also been given in the charging system. The 59 kWh battery is supported by a 140 kW DC fast charger, while the larger 79 kWh battery can be charged from 20 to 80 percent in just 20 minutes with a 175 kW DC charger. However, the price of the charger is not included in the price of the vehicle. Customers can buy 7.2 kW and 11.2 kW chargers separately.

Changes in interior and features too

Talking about features, both the SUVs include Level 2 ADAS technology, large glass sunroof and 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, which also supports Dolby Atmos.

The BE 6 now gets Sage colour leatherette interior and Ivory roof liner taken from Pack Three, which makes it more premium. On the other hand, the same modern triple screen design and high-tech dashboard have been retained in the XEV 9e.

Engine and Driving Experience

Both battery variants come with different power outputs. The 59 kWh battery version has a 170 kW motor, while the 79 kWh version comes with 210 kW power.

To make the driving experience more fun, it has options like Boost Mode, Auto Mode and Single Pedal Driving. Also, multi-level regenerative braking is also present in it.

Suspension and Sound Technology

The suspension system has iLink at the front and a 5-link setup at the rear, which comes with MTV-CL dampers and frequency-dependent damping. It gives a smooth driving experience on all types of roads.

Apart from this, virtual engine sounds have also been provided with SonicSuite technology, which gives a sporty feeling.

Sales and Customer Service

Mahindra claims that one of their electric SUVs is being sold every ten minutes. The company has also expanded its service network to more than 300 cities, due to which customers are expected to get better service.
