Mahindra Electric SUV BE 6 and XEV 9e: Mahindra is consolidating its market position in the electric four-wheeler space in India. Following a wonderful reception of its BE 6 and XEV 9e models, the company now plans to increase their offerings with several variants and improved battery packs that promise longer range and improved features for customers.
Mahindra BE 6
The Mahindra BE 6 is already known for its fresh look and powerful performance. The recently launched Pack Two B79 variant with a 79 kWh battery was the latest move. This addition greatly enhanced the range to satisfy customers who love longer journeys without repeated charging. The new variants should make the BE 6 series even more diversified.
Mahindra XEV 9e
The XEV 9e has also fared exceptionally well, due to its robust performance and high-end electric features. Like the BE 6, Mahindra is also planning to introduce Pack Three and Pack Three Select trim levels for the XEV 9e. These trims will be available with both 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs to meet various driving needs.
New Battery Options
Mahindra’s new development seeks to offer customers an option between more powerful and less powerful battery packs. The Pack Three Select trim will have a more substantial 79 kWh battery with a range of up to 656Km on full charge. While the base Pack Three will have a 59 kWh battery, trying to maintain cost and range for urban and semi-urban commuters.
mahindra Lineup
Following the success of Pack Two variants, Mahindra’s next plan is to expand its electric line-up by introducing four new variants on BE 6 and XEV 9e. This range is likely to enable customers to select based on their range needs and budgetary expectations.
