Mahindra BE.06: Mahindra launched its two new electric SUVs, BE.06 and XUV.e9, in November last year. At that time, the company had announced the prices of only the base variants of these two SUVs. Now the company has also revealed the prices of the top variants of both these cars. The top variant of BE.06 (which the company calls Pack 3) has been priced at ₹ 26.90 lakh.
Its base variant (Pack 1) was launched at a price of ₹ 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom). At present, the prices of only the base and top variants have been announced, the prices of its mid variant i.e. (Pack 2) are yet to be announced.
Booking and Delivery
Booking for the top variant of Mahindra BE.06 i.e. Pack 3 will start from February 14. Apart from this, booking of the other two variants is planned to start in March. Their delivery can be started by the end of March this year. However, customers can Wishlist both these cars through the company’s smartphone app.
Design and Look
Talking about the look and design, the most important thing is that it is very similar to its concept model. In fact, it is a coupe-style SUV. Unlike the concept, only the conventional wing mirrors and flush-fitting door handles have been changed. Its styling is very sharp and thick gloss black cladding has been given on the edges. Apart from this, the wheel arches give a nice dual-tone finish to the exterior.
Attractive Exterior
It has a new C-shaped LED daytime running light with an illuminated logo. A split spoiler divided into two parts, full-width wraparound LED tail lights leave no stone unturned in improving its rear profile. The coupe-style roof line at the rear further enhances its beauty.
Power and Performance
The BE.06e has been introduced in two types of tuning. That is, the 59kWh variant generates 228hp of power, while the 79kWh variant generates 281hp of power. Both variants generate the same 380Nm of torque. Currently, the company has introduced it only in rear-wheel drive form. It is believed that an AWD version can also be introduced in the future.
Driving range
Mahindra BE.06e is offered with two battery packs. One is a 59kWh unit and the other is a 79kWh unit. This SUV is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds. This car has three driving modes, which include Range, Everyday, and Race mode. Its larger battery pack gives a range of 682 km on a single charge, while the smaller battery pack is capable of giving a range of 550 km. The company says that its battery can be charged from 20 percent to 80 percent in just 20 minutes with the help of a 175kW DC fast charger.
