Hyundai Ioniq 5: Hyundai’s electric vehicle portfolio has gained momentum with the arrival of the Creta Electric, replacing the Kona EV. Alongside this, the Ioniq 5 electric SUV has witnessed a sudden spike in demand. In July, its sales doubled compared to June, driven by an attractive ₹4 lakh cash discount. This offer has made the model even more appealing to EV buyers, pushing sales to their highest in six months.

Strong July Performance

Last month in June 2025, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 sold just 12 units. In July, the number increased to 25 units — an increase of 100%. Previously, the company had launched the Ioniq 5 in January 2023 at ₹44.95 lakh. Now, the price is set at ₹46.05 lakh. With the discount applied, customers can purchase it for ₹42.05 lakh. Dealers are promoting this offer to offload leftover stock.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 Features

Ioniq 5 offers twin 12.3-inch screens that merge the instrument cluster and touchscreen. It also offers head-up display, six airbags, virtual engine sound, electric parking brake, four disc brakes, multi-collision brake, and power child lock. Eco-Friendly Interior

Hyundai has employed eco-friendly materials within the Ioniq 5. The door trims and dashboard have soft-touch finishes, and the armrest, seat upholstery, and the steering wheel have pixel designs. Bio paint is used on different components, while components such as the crash pad and door panels are constructed from fully recyclable materials.
