Kinetic: Kinetic is back in the Indian two-wheeler market, and this time with an electric punch. The company has launched its new electric scooter, Kinetic DX, in two variants—DX and DX+. Pre-bookings are already open on the official website at just ₹1,000, while deliveries will begin in September 2025. The launch marks a strong re-entry, limited to just 35,000 units for the first year, creating exclusivity around this new EV.
Kinetic DX
The starting ex-showroom price of the base Kinetic DX variant is ₹1,11,499. It comes with a certified range of 116 km on a single charge. This variant gets a 4.8kW BLDC hub motor and can reach speeds of up to 90 km/h. Powering it is a 4.6kWh LFP battery pack developed by Range-X, ensuring efficient and safe energy delivery.
Kinetic DX+
Priced at ₹1,17,499 (ex-showroom), the DX+ variant adds more technology and color options. The key feature here is cruise lock technology, which allows the scooter to maintain a steady speed of 25–30 km/h. With this feature, the DX+ can achieve an extended range of up to 150 km, depending on usage. Riders can also choose from three modes—Range, Power, and Turbo—for different performance needs.
Advanced Features
Kinetic DX and DX+ are loaded with features to match today’s rider expectations. The scooter includes a large 8.8-inch digital display, Bluetooth connectivity, music player, and voice navigation support. A special Kinetic Assist switch is also added, making the ride smarter and more interactive. These features bring it head-to-head with rivals like TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Hero Vida V1, and Ather Rizta.
Variants and Booking Details
Both variants are now up for booking through Kinetic’s website at just ₹1,000. Deliveries will begin in September 2025, and only 35,000 units will be available initially. This not only adds urgency but also positions the scooter as a limited-edition launch for early adopters.
