Kia Syros: How Many Kilometers Will It Run on One Liter of Diesel/Petrol? Check Mileage Before Booking

Kia Motors has recently introduced the Syros Compact SUV, and bookings for the car have started. The prices will be announced soon. Even before the official launch, ARAI has revealed the mileage details of the Kia Syros. Let’s take a look at the fuel efficiency, performance, and specifications of the vehicle.

Kia Syros Engine and Mileage

The SUV is equipped with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, generating 120bhp of power and 172Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Kia Motors has also introduced a second 1.5-litre CRDI diesel engine for the Syros, which generates 115bhp of power and 250Nm of torque. This engine is available with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter transmission.

Kia Syros Mileage

According to ARAI data, the petrol engine of the Kia Syros offers a mileage of 18.2 km/l with the manual transmission and 17.68 km/l with the automatic gearbox. The diesel engine, on the other hand, delivers up to 20.75 km/l with the manual transmission and 17.65 km/l with the automatic gearbox.

Features and Specifications

The new Kia Syros comes with a range of advanced features including LED headlights, LED DRLs, LED taillights, a flat tailgate, and 17-inch alloy wheels. For infotainment and the driver’s display, the car features a 12.3-inch dual-screen setup. It also has dual-zone AC, a 4-way powered driver seat, ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, and a large sunroof with power windows.

Safety Features

For safety, the Kia Syros offers 6 airbags, Level-2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system), and a 360-degree camera. The SUV’s dimensions are 3,995 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,665 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,550 mm.

Pricing

The Kia Syros will be positioned between the Sonet and the Seltos in terms of pricing. The starting price is expected to be around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). In India, it will compete with popular compact SUVs like the Maruti Brezza and Tata Nexon.
