Kia India has further enhanced its popular family MPV, the Carens Clavis, in the Indian market. Known as an ideal car for families, the Carens now has a new HTX(O) variant and a 6-seater configuration. New HTX(O) Variant
Kia has launched its new HTX(O) variant at a starting price of ₹19.26 lakh (ex-showroom). With this new variant, the Carens Clavis now has a total of 8 trims available, available in both 6-seater and 7-seater layouts. Sales of this variant will begin nationwide on October 13, 2025.
The HTX(O) variant has been upgraded with several premium features that differentiate it from other trims. Features like a Bose premium 8-speaker sound system and drive mode select (Eco, Normal, and Sport) are included. Additionally, features like smart remote engine start and an electric parking brake with auto hold make the driving experience even more convenient and modern.
Engine and Performance
The new Carens Clavis features a 1.5-liter turbo GDi engine and a 7-speed DCT gearbox. This setup delivers excellent power and smooth performance. Whether it’s a long highway drive or city traffic, this engine offers a great driving experience in every situation.
Furthermore, this variant is now available in both 6-seater and 7-seater options, allowing customers to choose according to their needs. Notably, the 6-seater configuration is now available in additional trims—HTK+, HTK+(O), and HTX(O), providing greater flexibility for family buyers.

The Kia Carens Clavis is also unmatched in terms of safety. It features Level-2 ADAS (20 autonomous features) that provide real-time assistance to the driver. It also boasts features like six airbags, Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), rear occupant alert, and a rollover sensor.
