Hyundai Verna SX+ Interior Experience
Hyundai Verna SX+ offers a panoramic display arrangement, seamlessly integrating infotainment and driver info. It has a 10.25-inch HD infotainment screen supporting 12 languages, accompanied by a TFT MID digital instrument cluster. Buyers, depending on the engine model, receive either a black and red dashboard for the turbo engine or a black and beige arrangement for the non-turbo variant. The premium cabin also features Bose’s 8-speaker audio system, heated and ventilated front seats, leather seat upholstery, front parking sensors, and LED headlamps.
Powertrain and Performance Options
This SX+ variant is offered only with the 1.5-litre MPi petrol engine. It generates 157 bhp of power and 253 Nm of maximum torque. The buyers can opt for a 6-speed manual transmission or an iVT automatic transmission. This combination provides drivers with a balance of performance and silky smooth gear shifts. Hyundai is projecting this variant as a premium offering with a solid combination of comfort and capability.
Safety Features of the New Model
As far as safety is concerned, Hyundai Verna SX+ features Level-2 ADAS technology. It features Lane Following Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Safe Exit Warning. Price and Market Positioning
The SX+ variant is new at a price of Rs.13.79 lakh for the manual model, whereas iVT automatic model is priced at Rs.15.04 lakh (ex-showroom). Hyundai is targeting to make its presence stronger in the premium sedan segment with this launch. It competes head-on with the top models of rivals such as Skoda Slavia and Honda City with this pricing.

Tarun Garg, Hyundai Motor India’s COO, said that the launch of SX+ variant in the Verna family, along with wireless adapter compatibility, will make the brand more appealing. Hyundai anticipates this new offering to attract a large volume of customers seeking luxury and technology in one.
