Hyundai Motor India has planned to launch 26 new models by 2030, which include petrol, electric and hybrid cars. These include the facelift versions of Hyundai Verna and Exter in 2026. Let’s know what will be new in these two popular cars.

Hyundai Verna 2026

The 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift may see some major changes in the exterior design. Spy images show that it will get redesigned headlamps, taillamps and updated bumpers. However, the engine options are expected to remain the same – 1.5L normally aspirated (115bhp) and 1.5L turbo petrol (160bhp).

Verna is already loaded in terms of features, but the new facelift may get some additional safety and connectivity features. There will be a slight increase in the price, which will remain around the current price range (Rs 11.07 lakh to Rs 17.58 lakh, ex-showroom).

Hyundai Exter 2026

Hyundai Exter, which is the company’s most affordable SUV, will come with an upgraded version in 2026. There will not be many changes in the exterior, but the interior may get new upholstery and some extra safety features.

Exter currently comes with a 1.2L petrol engine (83bhp), with a CNG option also available. Prices range from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10.51 lakh (ex-showroom), which may increase slightly after the facelift. The Exter will continue to be a great option for small families and first-time car buyers.

Hyundai’s plan

Hyundai has made a big strategy to strengthen its market position in India. To compete with homegrown brands like Tata and Mahindra, the company will launch 26 new vehicles by 2030, which will include petrol, hybrid and electric cars.
