Honda Offers June 2025: Honda is all set for a big return in the Indian market with not one but two new SUVs. After a sluggish beginning to 2025, the brand is now getting ready to launch a full-electric 5-seater SUV as well as a roomy 7-seater model. Both the cars are likely to make waves in their respective segments, taking the leading players by surprise with cutting-edge tech and new designs.
Honda Electric SUV Interior
Honda’s forthcoming electric SUV will be a mid-size 5-seater vehicle, competing against the likes of Hyundai Creta EV, Maruti e-Vitara, and Mahindra BE 6. Contrary to initial speculations, it won’t be derived from the current Elevate platform. Rather, this brand-new electric SUV will feature its own architecture and design, reflecting Honda’s transition to next-gen electric mobility.
The EV is expected to concentrate on providing a high-tech cabin experience, modern styling, and a feature-packed infotainment system to attract young customers. Although interior details have not yet been announced, Honda is anticipated to provide roomy seating, updated connectivity features, and advanced safety features.
Honda Electric SUV Features
Honda is aiming to bring this electric SUV to India within the next 9–12 months. Before launching the EV, the company plans to establish a charging infrastructure across the country, following a strategy similar to Maruti Suzuki, which is setting up DC fast chargers ahead of its own EV launch. This move suggests that Honda is committed to offering better convenience and usability for its EV customers right from the start.
New 7-Seater SUV Platform
The second big launch from Honda will be an all-new 7-seater SUV, which will arrive by late 2027. The new SUV will be developed on a new platform codenamed PF2. The same platform will be shared by ICE-powered and electric variants. Honda’s R&D teams in Japan and Thailand are spearheading the development, with inputs from Indian engineering division.
The SUV will be locally produced in India, which will assist with competitive pricing. It is reported that it could launch at around Rs.15 lakh (ex-showroom), and so it would be a very competing three-row SUV.
Honda 7-Seater SUV Engine and Production
Although Honda has not released complete technical details as yet, the SUV should come with thetested 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine of the Elevate. It may also feature the City Hybrid’s powerful hybrid system, comprising two electric motors and a petrol engine.
Series production of the SUV should start in October 2027. Honda also plans to ship it overseas, further increasing its scale of production.
Market Competition and Positioning
Honda’s electric SUV will be going head-to-head with some of the country’s most highly awaited EVs, such as Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta EV, and Maruti e-Vitara. The 7-seater variant, however, will compete with Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari, both of which are presently quite popular in the three-row SUV segment.
With both these SUVs, Honda is going to implement a full-fledged product strategy one in sustainability and the other in large family transportation. The local production and export plans being considered also make it clear that India will be at the core of Honda’s future plan.
Honda’s June Offers
During the wait for these two big launches, Honda has launched big discounts in June 2025. The company is providing benefits of up to Rs.1.20 lakh for models such as Amaze, City, and Elevate. These special offers are part of Honda’s festive season sales drive before the festivities start.
