The popular motorcycle Hero HF100, which gives tough competition to the Hero Splendor Plus, has now been launched in a new avatar. Hero MotoCorp has introduced the updated 2025 Hero HF100 in the Indian market with the latest OBD-2B emission standards.
Its price has increased marginally by ₹ 1,100 compared to the old model, after which the ex-showroom price of this new commuter bike has now become ₹ 60,118. The 2025 Hero HF 100 is one of the most preferred bikes in the 100cc segment in India, known for its affordable price and great mileage. Let us know in detail about the powertrain and features of this new bike.
What is new in design and features
There has been no change in the design of the new HF100 motorcycle. It looks similar to the earlier model. You can buy this motorcycle in two attractive color options – Red Black and Blue Black. It is a simple commuter bike, but it has many useful features.
It has the facility of engine-off on fall and engine cut-off when the side-stand is down, which are very important from the safety point of view. An analog speedometer is also provided in its console, which gives it a classic look.
On the other hand, if we talk about the features of the new Hero HF 100, it has a telescopic fork and two-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber, which provide a comfortable riding experience even on bad roads. This bike has 130mm drum brakes on both sides and ‘IBS’ (Integrated Braking System), which is Hero’s version of Combined Braking System (CBS) and makes braking safe.
Apart from this, the motorcycle has 18-inch alloy wheels and 2.75-inch wide tires on both the front and rear, which provide better grip. The bike weighs 110 kg, the seat height is 805mm and the ground clearance is 165mm, which makes it suitable for riders of different heights.
Engine and mileage
There is no change in its powertrain either. It uses a 97.2cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which now complies with OBD-2B emission norms. This engine generates 8.02PS of power at 8,000 rpm and 8.05Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. It is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. Talking about mileage, the mileage claimed by ARAI is up to 70 kilometers per liter, which is excellent in this segment. It has a 9.1-liter fuel tank, which is sufficient for long-distance journeys.
