Super Splendor XTEC, Glamour, and the Splendor Plus, all these three are now compliant with the brand new OBD-2B emission standards. But, is this just an engine update, or is there something new as well? Let’s find out in depth.
Hero’s new blast
Hero MotoCorp has further strengthened its strong hold in the Indian market by launching updated versions of Super Splendor XTEC, Glamour, and Splendor Plus. The biggest feature of all these three models is their new OBD-2B emission standard engine. But, no major changes have been made in the design and features. The engine is now cleaner than before and the prices have increased slightly.
2025 Hero Super Splendor XTEC
The starting price of the 2025 Super Splendor XTEC is Rs 88,128 for the drum brake variant, while the disc brake variant is priced at Rs 92,028 (ex-showroom). Compared to the previous models, the updated models are Rs 2,000 more expensive.

There are no changes in the design. The bike is available in four colors Matte Nexus Blue, Matte Grey, Black, and Candy Blazing Red. Features include LED headlights, digital display, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Only internal changes have been made to the bike for OBD-2B compliance, but the specifications remain the same. The Glamour has a 124.7cc air-cooled engine, which produces 10.39bhp of power and 10.4Nm of torque. The bike still has a 5-speed gearbox.
Hero Glamour comes with features like LED headlight, digital console, hazard lights, USB charging and real-time mileage indicator. The disc brake model is available in three colours like Candy Blazing Red, Techno Blue Matte Black and Black Metallic Silver. The Hero Splendor Plus is powered by a 97cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 8bhp and 8Nm of torque. Power remains the same as before, but the engine now complies with emission norms and is likely more fuel-efficient.
There are no major changes in the features except for the Xtec 2.0 variant. It incorporates modern technology for better daily use. Still, the Splendor Plus is simple, robust, and easy to maintain.
