Usually, whenever you used to travel a distance of 50 km, you had to pay a toll of ₹ 150-200, even if you travelled a lesser distance than that. Now this injustice is going to end.

Now the toll will be checked according to the kilometers driven by your vehicle on highways and expressways. For example, if you travelled 40 km in your vehicle, you will have to pay only ₹ 110 as a toll at the rate of approximately ₹ 2.75 per km. Earlier, even if your vehicle travelled only 10 km, you had to pay a fixed amount of ₹ 150-200. Even after FASTag is blacklisted, if you do not deposit the money within 2-3 days, you may have to pay a fine of 3-5 times the toll amount.
