Ducati DesertX: Sports bike enthusiasts have a reason to rejoice. Ducati India has launched an enticing offer on its DesertX Rally model. Consumers can now avail a substantial amount of savings through in-store advantages, but for a short while only.
Ducati DesertX Rally Offer
Ducati DesertX Rally has an ex-showroom price of ₹23.71 lakh and is the most premium bike in the DesertX series. The customers are also eligible to save up to ₹1.50 lakh under the current offer. But this advantage is offered in terms of in-store shopping only. The customers have the option to select accessories, riding jackets, or official merchandise. The offer is valid until 31st August, and hence the customers have a short time window to avail the offer.
Ducati DesertX Rally Design and Wheels
The DesertX Rally is unique in the Ducati lineup with the 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel configuration. The configuration improves off-road performance, making the DesertX Rally the first ever Ducati motorcycle to incorporate this design. The bike also receives a new look, which further increases its adventure-friendly personality.
Suspension and Chassis
For navigating challenging terrain, the DesertX Rally is equipped with a beak-style front mudguard and travel-abundant Kayaba suspension. Front and rear suspensions both get an extra 20 mm of travel, enhancing comfort and handling when off-road riding. Central-spoke wheels also contribute to flexibility over standard alloy rims to enable riders to ride through rough roads easily.
Ducati DesertX Rally Engine
In spite of robust components such as a forged carbon sump guard, machined gear pedal, and beefed-up rear brake lever, the bike weighs 1 kg more than the regular DesertX. It’s driven by a 937 cc Ducati Testastretta 11° twin-cylinder powerplant. This engine develops 108 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, delivering power as well as silky smooth highway cruising capability.
Ducati DesertX Rally Riding Modes
The motorcycle features six riding modes, namely Sport, Touring, Urban, Wet, Enduro, and Rally. These enable riders to tailor performance according to road and weather conditions. Some of the high-end features include Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC). The riders also receive a 5-inch TFT color display with smartphone connectivity, music playback, call management, and optional turn-by-turn navigation.
