Clavis EV: Kia has introduced its new electric 7-seater SUV, Carens Clavis EV, loaded with cutting-edge tech and robust range. Bookings have opened from July 22, and the new EV is intended for family buyers who require space, convenience, and stunning performance. The new EV comes in six color shades and is set to raise the bar in the electric SUV market.
Clavis EV Battery Range
Kia provides this EV in two battery variants — 42kWh and 51.4kWh. The 42kWh model provides a range of 404 km on a full charge, while the 51.4kWh battery provides a greater range of 490 km. With the support of fast charging, this SUV gets charged from 10% to 80% within 39 minutes with a 100kW DC fast charger. The company is also providing 7.4kW and 11kW home charging solutions for extra convenience.
Top-Notch Safety Features
The EV features Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, High Beam Assist, and Driver Attention Warning provide driving confidence. For parking assistance, there are front and rear sensors, a dual camera dash cam, and a 360-degree camera. The tyre pressure monitoring system is also equipped as standard.

One of the major points to be highlighted about the Clavis EV is its cutting-edge technology for vehicle-to-vehicle charging. This differentiates it from the competition in its class and offers even greater convenience on the move.
Kia Carens Clavis EV Price
The entry-level variant of Carens Clavis EV with the 42kWh battery has a price tag of ₹17.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The HTX model with the same battery variant is priced at ₹20.49 lakh. The next one is the 51.4kWh ER HTX model priced at ₹22.49 lakh, and then comes the best selling top-of-the-line ER HTX Plus priced at ₹24.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Kia covers both mid-range and premium EV buyers with this pricing segment.
