Hero MotoCorp has again shown why it is known as the nation’s top two-wheeler brand. In July 2025, Splendor was the company’s highest-selling motorcycle with over 2.22 lakh units sold. Despite the fact that its sales took a fall compared to last year, it still rules the commuter bike category and holds its lead position in the market.
Hero HF Deluxe Growth
The HF Deluxe saw a remarkable increase in sales. In July 2025, Hero retailed 71,477 units, as against 46,627 units in the corresponding month last year. This is a growth of more than 53%, indicating how much the demand for this affordable model has been in excess of demand.
Hero Destiny 125 Performance
One of the largest surprises in Hero’s lineup was the Destiny 125. Its sales increased from only 5,709 units in July 2024 to 19,726 units in July 2025. That is an impressive increase of more than 245%, and it is one of the fastest-growing models in Hero’s lineup.
Hero Passion and Glamour
Hero Passion also performed well in July 2025 with 18,109 units sold compared to 11,399 units sold last year. This provided the model with a growth of nearly 59%. However, Glamour could manage only 10,696 units, marginally ahead of last year’s 9,479 units. Both motorcycles are still luring consumers in the commuter segment.
Models With Decline
Not all Hero motorcycles recorded growth. Extreme 125R registered a steep drop in sales with 12,287 compared to 25,840 from last year, a decline of more than 52%. Pleasure also recorded a decline to 8,495 units from 13,748 for last year. Even the premium models of Karizma 210 and Marvik 440 found very few buyers in July 2025.
Electric and New Entries
Hero’s electric model Vida also did well with the sale increasing to 11,225 units from 4,600 units in the previous year, up 144%. The new Extreme 250R model contributed 367 units in its first month, showing Hero is serious about growing the premium segment.
