This electric SUV of the company will be launched for customers in the first half of 2025. The Sealion 7 is the SUV variant of the BYD Seal sedan, built on the e-platform 3.0 Evo.

This car can be given a 15.6-inch rotating infotainment display, 11 airbags, a panoramic moonroof, a heads-up display, an electronic tailgate, and advanced phone connectivity features. Apart from this, BYD is planning to expand its dealership network in India from 27 to 40 locations.

According to reports, this car can be launched with two battery options of 82.5kWh and 91.3kWh. Talking about the driving range, the performance variant of this car can cover a distance of up to 542 km on a single charge and the premium variant can cover a distance of up to 567 km.

BYD has started booking its new electric car for customers from today i.e. 18 January. For this car, you will have to pay a booking amount of Rs 70 thousand. Not only this, a discount of Rs 70 thousand will also be given by the company under the initial offer. Now the question arises here if the car is booked today, when will the keys of the car be available? According to reports, the delivery of this car can start from March 7, 2025.
Possible price of BYD Sealion 7 in India
The price of this new electric SUV of BYD can be slightly higher than the Seal sedan, if reports are to be believed, then the starting price of this car can be Rs 41 lakh (ex-showroom). The long-range and performance-focused version of this car is expected to be launched. It is being said that this upcoming car from BYD can compete with the Skoda Enyaq EV.
