Hyundai SUV New Design: Hyundai is preparing to give its best-selling compact SUV a dramatic facelift. The next-generation Venue was spotted during testing, suggesting a number of design and feature enhancements. With Hyundai already well established in the SUV segment, this release could cement its hold on the segment even tighter.

New Exterior and Design Revamp

The new-generation Hyundai Venue will come with a thoroughly new-looking exterior. Latest spy shots indicate the front look is now directly inspired by the new Creta. Look out for vertically stacked headlamps combined with connected C-shaped LED DRLs for a new aggressive face. The front and rear bumpers will also be updated, and a new alloy wheel design will contribute to its premium look. At the back, newly designed LED tail-lamps will contribute to its style too.

Interior Upgrades

While the interior has not been revealed officially yet, initial reports indicate a major upgrade. The dashboard layout is expected to be redone, with a view to providing a more premium feel. Hyundai could also give the upholstery and the interior theme an update to provide a touch of luxury to the cabin.

More changes in features

Hyundai should make a significant technology jump with the new Venue. Features such as front parking sensors, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and a bigger infotainment system might be launched. A completely digital instrument cluster and Level 2 ADAS are also expected, which would be a big step up from the current model.

Pricing and Competition

The new-gen Hyundai Venue will cost slightly more than the outgoing model, with a rumored price increase of ₹30,000 to ₹80,000. Upon launch, it will rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet, and Skoda Kushaq. With these changes, Hyundai hopes to be able to make a better case for the Venue in this highly competitive segment.
