Ather has introduced a new version of its highly popular 450S, now with an increased battery size and longer range. It’s made for everyday riders who desire fashion, intelligent technology, and speed without exceeding the price tag of high-end scooters.
Offers 161km Range
The new Ather 450S has a higher capacity 3.7kWh battery, and it delivers an IDC-certified range of 161km. This is the same range that Ather’s flagship model 450X delivers, but much cheaper. The new 450S costs ₹1.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) and will start deliveries from August 2025. Bookings are open online and at dealerships already.
Same Power, Bigger Battery
Even with the new battery, this version still features the high-output 5.4kW motor that provides 22Nm of torque. It goes from 0 to 40 km/h in only 3.9 seconds, which is perfect for traffic inside the city and rapid escapes.
Smart Features
Ather 450S also comes with a 7-inch screen with Bluetooth, turn-by-turn instructions, and auto brightness. It has multiple riding modes such as SmartEco, Eco, Ride, and Sport. The scooter is also equipped with AtherStack Pro, OTA firmware updates, and major safety features such as AutoHold, FallSafe, Emergency Stop Signal, and Alexa. Charging from 0 to 80% is approximately 4.5 hours when using a home charger.
