Mahindra XEV 9S
Mahindra is going to add another new electric SUV to its Born Electric lineup, named Mahindra XEV 9S. This will be the company’s flagship three-row EV and offer more premium cabin layout than the XEV 9e and BE 6. Its design is very similar to the XUV.e8 concept, with sleek surfaces and modern portions.

The SUV is based on Mahindra’s INGLO skateboard platform, which is believed to be the future base of the company’s electric architecture. In terms of battery and motor combination, the 9S is expected to get the same features as those offered in XEV 9e and BE 6. Real-world driving range in top trims can go up to about 500 km, making it a strong choice for long-distance EV buyers.
Tata Safari Petrol
Tata Motors is finally going to offer a choice of petrol engine in its popular Safari and Harrier. The decision was being weighed for a long time, and now the company is ready to market it. The new 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged Hyperion petrol engine will deliver a power of about 168 PS and 280 Nm torque.

Both manual and automatic gearbox options will be found with this engine. However, Tata is currently keeping the type of automatic gearbox secret. The new petrol trims will be launched in December, and prices will be kept below diesel variants. These trims especially target buyers who do not need diesel torque or who pay much attention to urban usage.
Mahindra XUV 700 Facelift
New facelift of the Mahindra XUV 700 is scheduled to arrive early next year. This ICE model will be offered with advanced features and modern interior. While some minor styling updates will be found in the outside design, there will be a big change in the cabin.

The most special update will be the setup of the three screens. It has a large 12.3-inch touchscreen, a new digital driver display, and a dedicated front passenger screen. In addition, many new features will be added, making the XUV 700 facelift even more compelling models for tech-lovers.

Nissan Compact MPV
Nissan is also preparing to bring a new compact MPV to the Indian market. It has been seen several times during testing recently. It will be based on the MPV Renault Triber platform, which means it will see good space, modular seating and affordable prices.

This Nissan MPV will be launched early next year and is part of the brand’s larger product strategy, including a new midsize SUV and a 7-seater SUV. Since the model will be heavily localised, prices are expected to be very competitive — making it a great choice for budget-conscious families.
