Kawasaki has once again proven that when it comes to performance and style, it’s second to none. The company has unveiled the new 2026 Kawasaki Z650 S, the latest addition to its popular Z series. This bike is not only more attractive than its predecessor, but it also features updates that directly link it to the premium look and feel of the Z900.

Design
Talking about its design, the 2026 Z650 S has the same Triple Pod LED Headlight Setup which is found in the Z900. Simultaneously, the Tank Shrouds are made more wide and aggressive, making the bike look more muscular than before. Not only this, this time the handlebar is 30mm wide and foot pegs are repositioned, so that the riding posture is more comfortable.

Seat and comfort
The 2026 Z650 S also features a redesigned seat. The rider’s seat height has been increased by 15mm, resulting in a slightly higher riding position and improved control. The pillion seat now has 10mm of extra padding and is 20mm wider. This means both the rider and passenger will experience greater comfort on longer journeys.

Features
Kawasaki has placed the same reliable mechanical setup in this bike as it was in the Z650. It features Dual-Channel ABS (Continental) with RSU Telescopic Front Forks, Mono-Shock Rear Suspension, 300mm Front Disc and 220mm Rear Disc.

Talking about the dashboard, it has a 4.3-inch TFT Display, which is compatible with Bluetooth Connectivity and Kawasaki Role App. That is, riding data, notifications and bike status will all be found on mobile now.

Engine
The new 2026 Kawasaki Z650 S features the same 649cc Parallel Twin Cylinder DOHC Liquid-Cooled engine that produces 68 bhp of Power and 64 Nm of Torque. It offers smooth gear shifting experience with 6-Speed Gearbox.
Also, the bike gets Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) as a standard feature, while Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) is placed optional. Apart from this, the company is also offering features like USB Type-C Port, Ergo-Fit Low Seat (20mm Lower) and Luggage Accessories.
Variants
Kawasaki currently offers the Z650 in two versions – the Standard Z650 and the new Z650 S. The standard model retains its original design, while the S version gets a completely new look and updated features.
