Maruti Wagon R: If you’re planning to purchase a new vehicle this month, now could be the ideal moment. One of India’s best-selling hatchbacks has just gotten cheaper with a huge discount offer, and it’s a firm contender for price-sensitive buyers.
Wagon R Offer Details
Maruti Suzuki is providing a bumper discount of as much as ₹1.05 lakh on the Wagon R this month. Previously, the discount was ₹80,000, but the company has upgraded it now. The maximum discount is available on the LXI 1.0L petrol MT and LXI CNG MT variants. On other models, customers can still avail themselves of a discount between ₹95,000 to ₹1 lakh. This is a limited-period offer and it’s only valid up to 31 July 2025. As discounts might be different depending on the city or dealer, it’s advisable to confirm the price at your local showroom. The starting ex-showroom price of the car is ₹5.64 lakh.

Wagon R is equipped with a set of convenient features that enhance safety as well as convenience. Dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, and rear parking sensors come as standard for secure driving. There’s a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Power windows, power steering, keyless entry, hill-hold assist, four speakers, and steering-mounted controls are some of the features included—making the hatchback both convenient and contemporary.
Engine Mileage Options
The car is available with two petrol engine options using Maruti’s Dual Jet Dual VVT technology. The first is a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine, and the second is a more powerful 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine. The 1.0-litre variant offers a mileage of 25.19 km/l, while the 1.2-litre engine in ZXI AGS and ZXI+ AGS trims delivers 24.43 km/l, as claimed by the company.
Wagon R CNG Variant Mileage
Wagon R also has a CNG variant, priced in LXI and VXI. The model provides a remarkable fuel economy of 34.05 km/kg, suitable for daily urban usage and long-term savings. The CNG variant offers low cost of running with reasonable performance, further enhancing value for money.
