NVS Recruitment 2026: If you aspire to be a teacher and wish to gain experience in a renowned school, a wonderful opportunity is here for you. The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti in the Lucknow region has initiated the recruitment process for contract teachers and staff for the academic year 2026-27. This recruitment will fill positions for PGT, TGT, Librarian, and Staff Nurse in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas located in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. NVS Recruitment 2026 Eligibility
For PGT roles, candidates should possess a master’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks and a B.Ed. Those with specific integrated courses are also eligible to apply.
For TGT roles, a graduation degree in a relevant subject, a B.Ed., and passing CTET Paper-II are essential. Candidates must be capable of teaching in both Hindi and English. For the Staff Nurse position, a B.Sc Nursing degree, registration with the State Nursing Council, and at least two and a half years of work experience are required.
NVS Recruitment 2026 Salary
This contract recruitment will also offer attractive salaries. PGT teachers at general stations will receive a salary of up to Rs 35,750 per month, while at hard stations this amount can reach up to Rs 42,250. For TGT, librarian, and staff nurse positions, the monthly salary is set at Rs 34,125 at general stations and Rs 40,625 at hard stations.
Selection will be conducted without a written exam. The unique feature of this recruitment is that there will be no written exam. Candidates will be selected based on educational qualifications, experience, document verification, merit list, and interview. Interviews for some positions may also be conducted online.
