1. To change the mobile number linked to Aadhaar, use the new Aadhaar app:

– Begin by downloading and installing the new Aadhaar app.

– Log in to the app by entering your Aadhaar number.

2. Proceed with face authentication to access the app:

– Navigate to the Services section.

– Select the Mobile Number Update option.

3. Follow these steps to update your mobile number:

– Click on Continue to Update Mobile Number.

– Enter the new mobile number you wish to link to Aadhaar.

– Verify by entering the OTP sent to the provided mobile number.

 

4. Complete the process:

– Authenticate through face verification.

– Pay the online fee of Rs 75.

– Submit the details and your new mobile number will be updated in Aadhaar within 15 days.

 

To update the registered mobile number on your Aadhaar card, follow these steps:

 

1. Visit the UIDAI website (uidai.gov.in) and select “Locate Enrollment Centre” to find the nearest Aadhaar enrollment center for updating your mobile number.

 

2. Approach the Aadhaar Help Executive at the enrollment center for guidance on updating your mobile number.

 

3. Complete a form to update your phone number, ensuring all details are accurate to prevent errors.

 

4. Hand in the form to the Aadhaar Help Executive along with necessary supporting documents like identity proof, address proof, and your existing Aadhaar card for review.

 

5. Pay a fee of Rs 50 for the mobile number update on your Aadhaar card.

 

6. After fee payment, the Aadhaar Help Executive will issue you an Update Request Number (URN) slip to track the status of your update request.

 

7. Check the progress of your mobile number update by entering your URN and other details in the “Check Enrollment” section on the official UIDAI website at myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in. The current status of your update request will be displayed.
