The senior citizen card is the government identity card issued by various state governments in India to citizens aged 60 years and above. Senior Citizen Card can be applied for both online and offline methods. To apply online, first visit the National Government Services Portal (India.gov.in). Then go to the website of the concerned state and fill the application form for Senior Citizen Card. Provide the required information, upload the required documents and passport size photograph. The process will be completed only after submitting the application by paying the prescribed fee.

To apply offline, you have to go to the ‘Seva Kendra’ or the local Tehsildar’s office in your state. From there, you have to collect the application form, fill it correctly and attach the necessary documents. The application can usually be completed by paying a fee of 10 taka.
