Monsoon Alert – Heavy Rainfall Warning for these States till February 18

Monsoon Update: Winter is slowly departing from northern India. Rising temperatures in the last two days have made it difficult to sit in the sun in some areas. The rising temperatures and sunshine have significantly reduced the chill. However, the situation remains dire in the hilly regions, with temperatures steadily dropping.

Heavy snowfall in various parts of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir late last night caused temperatures to plummet. Temperatures are still below freezing in many areas. Cold winds are blowing in the plains of these three states. Cloudy skies are expected in Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh. Unseasonal rain is forecast in some parts of South India.
