Volkswagen Taigun Facelift
Volkswagen has clarified that the Volkswagen Taigun facelift will follow the lead of the recently updated Skoda Kushaq. This means there won’t be any major changes to the exterior, but rather minor cosmetic touches to keep the SUV looking modern and fresh.
Interior
Talking about Interior, the real focus will remain here. Volkswagen is set to take interior quality to the next level. Better material, fine finish and premium feel surfaces will be an important part of this facelift.

Talking about features, it is expected that the list will be revised like the updated Kushaq. However, the possibility of getting advanced safety features such as ADAS or 360-degree cameras at this stage is considered low.
Engine
So let’s talk about its engine now, the Taigun Facelift has full hope of continuing the existing 1.0-liter and 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine. Both these engines already offer a good balance of performance and efficiency.
Interestingly, Volkswagen is also considering an alternative to a new 8-speed automatic gearbox. If this update arrives, the driving experience may be more smooth and premium, especially during highway drives.
Volkswagen Virtus Facelift
Volkswagen Virtus’ facelift is expected to hit another part of the year. The update of Virtus will be in the case of positioning and equipment, just like Taigun. That is, smart improvement without much noise.

A major change can be seen in the infotainment system. Larger touchscreen displays, new software and improved connectivity features can make Virtus stronger in terms of technology. Along with this the interior trims will also be upgraded so that the sedan’s cabin looks more upmarket.

8-speed automatic
The new 8-speed automatic gearbox is also discussed in full swing with the Virtus Facelift. If this update becomes a reality, it will be considered a major mechanical upgrade for the model. Especially for customers who prefer comfort and smooth drive in sedans.
ADAS
Let me tell you that Volkswagen is currently working on ADAS technology for its mass-market models. The company’s strategy is to first launch these safety systems on premium and global products, then mold them according to the affordable segment.

This method has already been adopted on cars such as the Tiguan R-Line, Golf GTI and the upcoming Tayron R-Line. Skoda, the second brand of the Volkswagen Group, is also following this path. The two companies will share the Technical Knowledge and Integration Experience for ADAS to control costs in price-sensitive segments such as Taigun and Virtus.
