However, members of the Karni Sena have expressed displeasure over the video. Karni Sena officials have filed a written complaint at the Sasni Gate police station in Aligarh, demanding action against Rinku Singh. The video features Rinku Singh playing a cricket shot, accompanied by the caption, “Who made you a cricketer?” The video then shows AI-generated and animated scenes of Lord Shiva, Lord Hanuman, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Ganesha, conveying the message that his success was due to God’s grace.

The video shows everyone sitting inside a Thar vehicle, all wearing dark glasses. Lord Hanuman is seen driving the vehicle in the video, while English music plays in the background. Karni Sena members are angry about the video, claiming it hurts religious sentiments.

On Sunday, Karni Sena District President Sumit Tomar and his supporters went to the Sasni Gate police station in Aligarh to file a formal complaint against Rinku Singh. The police stated that they are taking very careful action in this matter. The station in-charge of Sasni Gate police station in Aligarh stated that they have received a written complaint and are investigating it.

Police first want to determine whether the viral video is authentic and what role Rinku Singh played in it—whether he created, edited, or uploaded the video himself. Officials have clearly stated that any legal action will be decided only after a thorough investigation. Following the ODI series, India and New Zealand will play a five-match T20I series. The series will begin on January 21, 2026, at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur.
The second T20I will be played on January 23 in Raipur, and the third in Guwahati on January 25. The fourth match will be played in Visakhapatnam on January 28, while the final and fifth match of the series will be played on January 31, 2026, at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram, starting at 7 p.m.
