Exterior Design
The exteriors of the new Tata Tiago EV are not expected to make major changes, but small changes that are visible can improve the overall appeal of the car. Spy photos show a light revision in its headlamps and bumpers. Tail lamps also look a bit restrained beforehand, although these changes are not very aggressive.

The most attention-grabbing update is the setup that resembles its new five-spoke alloy wheel design. The current Tiago EV offers 14-inch steel wheels, with an alloy-like cover. Test mules also feature 14-inch stylish steel wheels, but their design seems more premium than before. Tata Motors is believed to be adding a new paint color option with this update, giving buyers more choice.
Interior Cabin
If you are expecting major changes in the interior, the matter here is going to be a bit quiet. Only last year the cabin of Tata Tiago EV was redesigned. It was given a new dashboard layout, two-spoke steering wheel and a 10.25-inch large touchscreen infotainment system.
This time the interior design is expected to remain almost the same. Yes, a slight change in seat upholstery and trim can be seen, so that the cabin feels fresh. The lack of a wireless smartphone charger may still persist, as Tata Motors reserves this feature for Punch EV and larger EV models.
Battery, Motor and Performance
Mechanically the Tata Tiago EV is unlikely to make any major changes, and that’s a good thing too. The company will continue to offer it in two variants.
The base variant gets a 45 kW (60 hp) electric motor and a 19.2 kWh battery. This car catches a speed of 0 to 60 km / h in just 6.2 seconds. Its certified range is 223 kilometers, while about 168 kilometers can be expected in the real-world.
The top variant is more powerful, with a 55 kW (74 hp) motor and a 24 kWh battery. This variant achieves a speed of 0 to 60 km / h in just 5.7 seconds and its certified range goes up to 293 kilometers.

Price Expectation
As for pricing, the Tata Tiago EV isn’t expected to see any significant changes. Currently, it’s available in XE MR, XT MR, XT LR, and XZ+ Tech Lux LR variants. Prices start at ₹7.99 lakh and go up to ₹11.14 lakh (ex-showroom). Even after the update, Tata Motors will aim to keep it within the affordable range, ensuring it remains one of India’s most affordable EVs.
